Let’s keep it simple here, with every generation, the traditional dishes that once graced our grandparents’ tables are slowly fading away. While we encourage travel more than anything and it’s delightful to see our homes embracing flavors from Mexico, Japan, Italy, and beyond, it’s also bittersweet to notice the gradual disappearance of authentic Indian recipes that many of us grew up with.
Though I personally may not enjoy every traditional dish, losing these recipes completely would be deeply saddening. To preserve our rich culinary heritage, I invite everyone to share lists of traditional dishes that were prepared in your homes, creating an open record to ensure these tastes and memories live on.
